260 km, on highway ¹ 8, before Plovdiv, you take the deflect for Asenovgrad and Pamporovo – highway ¹ 86
- With  - it will take about 5 hours;
- With  - it will take you 4 hours;
- With RENT A CAR: it will costs from 25 EUR to 180 EUR/day (depends on the car that you will like to rent and the time you would like to rent it).

From airport Sofia to Central Bus Station:
|
- With - ¹ 84 to bus stop to “Eagle’s bridge”, from there you change on buses with ¹ 213, 214, 313 to Central Bus Station;
It will take you around 1 hour,
Ticket price: 2 tickets õ 0, 70 BGN = 1, 40 lv.
- With  - it will take you about 30 min, price: 10 lv.

From Central Bus Station depart for Smolyan many busses:

Hours: 8:00, 13:00, 15:00, 16:00, 17:00, 18:00.
Price: 19 BGN/10,5 EUR for the one way
it will take about 5 hours

Hours: 6:30, 10:00, 12:30 and 15:30.

If you come from Turkey:
|
It will be more comfortable if you go to Plovdiv and from there you take bus from Rodophy Bus Station:
Hours: every hour, but the last one goes at 19:30.
Price: 10 BGN / 5 EUR
